Yes, after 5 and only to houses closer than 10 minutes away from the store
Fresh pasta, good flavor and very polite.
Stopped here while on a road trip. Hoping to find a pizza hut but found this place instead. Absolutely worth it! Delicious pizza and a very welcoming environment with great costumer service. Plus, I have a 2 year old and you can tell the manager really cares about his restaurant since the bathrooms were so clean that I felt so comfortable to let my child use it. I really recommend this restaurant to all families!
Food was mediocre and definitely not worth the prices that were charged. Definitely better options for Itialian food in the area.
Hometown pizza and pasta. Great food. Great service. Our favorite!
Great food and service! We eat there several times a week, especially after kayaking on the Appomattox River, or Swift Creek. Very friendly staff and owner. Large cold draft beers, and a wonderful lunch menu. Lots of good food for a modest amount of cash. We love this place!
The waitress took a long time to come take our order. While I was paying for my food I heard another waitress talking bad About a family sitting behind us.
Delicious pizza, good customer service!
Good standard food. Nothing really special about the place. Slow service.
Very good food.
Food is always good, people are very nice
Hole on the wall place but they feed you. Portions are huge and the food is decent.
I eat at restaurants pretty frequently and I'd definitely put Pino's on my top 3 in the city. The food always tastes excellent and the portions are large, the staff is friendly, and the pricing is very reasonable. They also have an al fresco dining area if you're into that.
I ALWAYS order from here. Tonight was the LAST time!! Food was never delivered because the girl that took my order not only wrote my address down wrong, she also wrote my phone number down wrong. I called after a little over an hour (gave them a little longer because I know delivery takes a while with them...not a problem) and was told NO kind of discount because I ordered the special. I'm totally understanding of a mistake but to be told they wouldnt even discount the delivery fee or throw in the desert free of charge is ridiculous! Mind you it was THEIR mistake! I'm pretty sure they DONT CARE about my small $15.00 order but to keep a regular customer (or any customer)happy is obviously ALSO NOT priority!!
Loved the pizza I got. Wish the mushrooms were fresh and not from a can but still awesome crust and sauce. The cheese was also good.
I went here today with my mother. The waitress was very nice, and very helpful. The food was so good and the prices are reasonable. There menu is great with a variety of different Italian dishes. This is a great quite place to have a nice peaceful meal. I will be going back and I would highly recommend Pino's to everyone!
Great food ,cheerfull employees, and not out to kill your pocket. I eat at this great establishment often and will continue to do so. Not once have I had an issue with any meal I have ate there or taken home 👍
Friendly staff and great subs! Affordable food and delicious 👍
TERRIBLE. Ordered a traditional spaghetti with meatballs and sausage plus garlic knots. Tastes like they just poured tomato paste over noodles and threw some chopped up, old, sausages on top. The garlic knots were hard and barely brushed with garlic butter. In my opinion, if a so-called “Italian” restaurant can’t get something as simple as spaghetti right, that speaks VOLUMES about the rest of their menu. You’re better off buying a frozen Stouffer’s spaghetti bake, seriously.
Last time we were there, New owners, Foid was Awful, Decor nasty
Pizza was decent. Service was inattentive despite having been nearly empty when I was there.
Good food great service!
They were good about my son's allergy but I still won't go back. It took almost an hour to get our salads and bread, after the waitress came out to tell us our food just went in (several minutes after we ordered). Everyone's food came out a minute or two later except mine. They claimed to be suddenly busy with pizza takeout so my stromboli was delayed. They brought my food out as the others were getting boxes, for their leftovers.
I'm outta town for work, working on the advan6 plant and after a long, hard 12hr day i was craving italian food..So i called pinos, ask if they deliver to the hotel im staying (which is 5 miles away) at,only to be told that the hotels over 15 minutes away and that they dont deliver that far !? Im assuming that if you own a delivery business you know your surrounding areas and how long it takes to get there...guess not
The waitresses are so nice and funny. The AC is broken but they are real champs.Edit: the AC/heating is no longer broken
Great food and service
I really enjoyed the ravioli in pink sauce. Super delicious. I was with a small family party, and we all agreed, everything was delicious. I suppose it was just the lady who served us that left me lacking. Very forgetful, and we we're only 1 of 3 parties she was taking care of in a Sunday afternoon. She was not rude, just very forgetful.
A little pricey but decent. Waitress Vi was amazing!
Great food and super friendly staff. Servings were very generous! Our server, Anna, was outstanding! I’m not one to write reviews, but my entire family (who isn’t easy to please) was all so happy with our experience that I had to share.
New owners are failing. This use to be one of our favorite spots and the last 3 times it hasn't been a good experience. 3 strikes, you're out for us.Here's a picture of our last trips appetizer. Spinach dip with 4 tiny bread crisp. FOUR... but a big ol bowl of dip. For more than one person. Made no sense. Wings are rarely cooked too so beware!
Freezer burned tiramisuSoggy sub Old spaghetti that was super bland..And found a hair in the spaghettiI'm working out of town here in colonial heights away from family on Thanksgiving.. was really disappointed I'm this because it is one of the few restaurants open within walking distance of me.
Despino's that is located in colonial heights it's good. The guy who run said him and his wife I know them they live in my neighborhood. I just found out that they did live in my neighborhood a week ago. I have ate there before that sour times really enjoyed the food and the clientele. I'll give them four stars. I can truthfully say that the penos which is located in meadowdale shopping center if I had pet rats I won't even let them go there to eat. No stars for them.
It was ok. Ive had better
The pasta and lasagna was disgusting so it was sent back. The manager wanted to charge me for at least one of the dishes due to me ordering it. I asked him Why pay for something that I wasn't satisfied with and he stated that wasn't his problem. He was very rude and told me to never come there again, just because I didn't like the food. I've been going to this establishment for about 2 years and never had a bad experience until today. I never knew that if you replace a dish due to being unsatisfied with the first dish that you're to pay for one of them whether you like it not. If that was the case then put up a sign or have the waitresses warn the customers before replacing it. No I didn't pay for that horrible food. Instead of getting upset he should hire a new cook.
We ate there on a week night my daughter ordered a blt wrap. The bacon was imitation bacon bits the lettus was kinda brown and the tomatoes was diced it was a big soggy mess. I had potato soup and a mushroom cheese burger with fries. The soup was delicious the burger was ok and the fries were good
The food used to be better. Not sure what changed in the kitchen but who ever is back there needs to learn how not to serve spoiled ricotta cheese. Shame. I'll take my business elsewhere.
They are usually ok, but messed up my order this time!
I ordered food to go and was told 15 minutes. By the time I got there it had been close to 20. When I went to the register the lady told me my order wasnt ready yet, so I had a seat and waited another 20 minutes. When she rang my order up it took her and 2 other employees to find out how much my food was and were trying to find it on the menu. All I ordered was spaghetti. Also, when I was waiting the lady was having another employee read out someone's credit card number that had placed a delivery order. What bothered me the most was that she didnt just only read the number, she read expiration date and security code on the back. She was speaking very loud and everyone could hear it that was eating at the tables in the front by the register. I could or anyone else could've written down the numbers. Very unprofessional and it seemed like new owners that have no idea what they are doing. I wont be back.
Food always excellent!
My family and I ordered food from Pino’s for my grandmothers birthday tonight. The pictures we saw online looked really good and the restaurant we’d originally chosen had closed earlier than we were anticipating. I was unsure of Pino’s upon arriving, as the outside of the building leaves something to be desired, but the food was absolutely amazing. We ordered chicken Parmesan, Stromboli, ravioli, and stuffed shells — and none of us were disappointed! The salad was fresh, crisp and juicy and the garlic knots were delicious. Mozzarella was not spared on any entree and we were all very pleased with our choices! Pino’s is not the closest Italian restaurant to my house, but it will definitely be my first call next time we’re in the mood for Italian takeout!
Stopped by for dinner during a work trip. Prices are ok, but food is not. They messed up my companions drink order, the salad was watery. I had the chicken picatta but the pasta was overcooked and they used canned mushrooms. I wouldn't go back.
Great spot, the staff is super friendly!
Their food is amazing, which makes it so upsetting that their staff makes it a terrible experience. Pino’s used to be my favorite Italian restaurant, but here recently it’s just not worth it. In restaurant they are constantly taking orders down wrong, probably because half the staff is always high (I knew someone who worked there who verified this). When I tried to do take out I end up with wrong items as well cheese fries instead of cheese bread, wrong salad, etc. They have also given us trouble using army discount, with tons of attitude. I just wish the people were better so I could enjoy the food. Won’t be going back for awhile.
The veggie sub here is the best in town, by far. The cook is always careful not to cross contaminate with meat products, which I greatly appreciate, being vegetarian. The homemade potato chips that come with the subs are amazing!! Sometimes I wonder if my family and I secretly go for the chips more than the subs (though both are equally delicious!). The waitresses are always nice and efficient. The prices are good and you don't leave hungry.
Skip it. Food sub par, flavorless. Advertising a pizza slice combo, but said they don't have any slices available. Bland food, bland service
Always a great meal and very accommodating to special requests. Delivery always on point.
The pizza is great here, we will definitely add this new found place to our rotation. The crust, sauce and cheese were a perfect blend. I am from Buffalo NY and feel as if I am a good judge on pizza quality and what it should taste like. This place is a little treasure and I’m glad we found it.Salad portions were good too. They have a tasty house made ranch dressing and atmosphere is clean. It reminds me of northern style diner. Our pizza was made quickly. We were also very impressed with the portion size for the salad, wine and beer. Everything was very fresh and our server was cheerful and friendly.
Well flavored food, good congenial staff. Fair pricing. Ordered sub, pizza which were good, and tortellini Ala Bella which was excellent.
Bland food , sloooowwwwww service . What have you all got against spices ?
Good food and good service.
The first two times we ordered from Pino we were really happy. The last time we were given the wrong size, and rmwere rudely told we asked for that size (we didn't). The pizza was undercooked and tasted off. Haven't decided if we'll be back. I was more annoyed by the interaction with the staff than the pizza. They simply didn't care.
